Welcome to the Superspin Webpage
Distributed quantum systems are a key technology for scalable quantum computing, secure communication and for Europe’s digital sovereignty. In the EIC Pathfinder project Superspin, we aim to establish an important basis for distributed quantum processing and quantum networks by connecting a superconducting quantum computer with a spin-based quantum memory. This work marks a crucial step forward for high-performance quantum technologies. The project received funding from the European Innovation Council’s Pathfinder program.

At the beginning of April 2026 the Superspin Kick-off Meeting successfully took place in Karlsruhe. Representatives from all consortium partner gathered and each of them presenting their research focus and discussing the next steps for the successfull collaboration within Superspin. After the inspiring meeting all parties are exited to start with the project work.
